Biography
Chloe Ho (born 1987, California USA) belongs to a new generation of talented artists born in the 1980’s. She spent most of her formative years in Hong Kong and considers it home. She finished her studies at Mills College in California where she studied under Liu Hung (Chinese- American contemporary artist) and Moira Roth (American art historian and critic.) The artist reflects her multicultural background and signature artistic vision in her paintings. She makes a bold statement through the use of traditional mediums all presented from an original perspective. Her work always shows an eye for the unexpected, yet aesthetically familiar.
Chloe Ho is exclusively represented by 3812 Gallery and has been featured in numerous group shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau. She has also held successful solo exhibitions at the Alice King Gallery in Alisan Fine Arts (2012), Joyce Gallery, Shanghai (2014), Forbes Galleries, New York (2014), The Hong Kong Club (2015), at her current gallery, 3812 Gallery, “Forces of Nature, What do you see?” (2014), “Sea of Faces” (2016) & “Ascendence” (2017). “Ascendence” was also exhibited at Hong Kong Arts Centre (2017). Other exhibitions was featured at Fine Art Fair Asia, Hong Kong (2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017), Ink Asia, Hong Kong (2015, 2016 & 2017), Art Taipei 2018 and Ink Now Taipei Art Expo 2019. Chloe Ho was named “Martell Artist of the Year in Hong Kong” in 2018. Her works are held by private collectors in London, Paris, Gstaad, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Washington, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Florida and Mainland China.
